This is what was making me smile today :0)

a freshly made bed with new sheets which almost perfectly match my favourite bed linen :0)

and sharing knitting this sweater with my friend Michelle who visited, we sat on my bed and knitted away together and it was so nice :0) we are doing a kal of the sweater name "Parcel" I am loving how it looks and feels in this yarn-BWM melody in crimson.

January 4th 2011

And now we find ourselves caught up and posting pictures on the right day :0)

Today is all about this machine, i would so love to own one of these but as they are not available I hire one every now and again to clear away some of the evidence left behind from having so many small people live in ones home :0)

I so love steamcleaning day arriving, well i would rather knit than do the hard work but when i sit down tonight to hopefully find a few minutes to knit I will really enjoy knowing the carpets are clean :0)

I knitted this square for my knitted square swap on the 3rd of January, I really like knitting from

the inside out like this :0)

I have taken all my half balls from previous squares and sorted them into colour groups ready to knit up squares with :0)

Here are the socks I started on January 1st, from my personal sock yarn club I sewed project bags for on the 30th of December with my friend Michelle teaching me how she makes the bags :0) and filled on the 31st with my friend Kylie popping them in the bags so I would really get a surprise :0) I got this far on the 2nd :0)

I also knit this square in the round from the centre out for my 8 inch square swap partner



And these are my 12 sock yarn project bags all packed up and ready to choose from each month :0)

new ideas for 2011

I am working on some new things to keep life rich and fulfilling in 2011 and will be updating here again

1st I have decided 2011 is the year to declutter my life so I am aiming to remove from my home whether by rubbish, freecycling, donating to opshops or passing on to friends uneeded items.
I will be removing 11 items minimum per day I imagine at the start of the year there will be more asnd as the yeasr goes on it will be harder to make the 11 in which case it may come down to simple maintenance and throwing out things as the wear out eacxh day

2nd I am aiming to knit from stash only-yes I know I have said it before but I am trying again nonetheless

3rd I will attempt to take and upload a picture for everyday this year as part of project 365, but to begin with commit to January :0)

4th I am aiming for 11 sweaters in 2011

5th I am aiming for 111 craft projects tis year, they may be knitting (probably quite a few-lol) they may be painting, sewing, whatever takes my fancy this year

Well that might be enough to start with :0)

Happy Birthday Bear

So it was almost Logans 3rd birthday and we were in town so I took him to build a bear and he chose his very own birthday bear, Big sister jen took some pictures of him along the way-too sweet :0)
